More than 50 years of evolution

Where it began

JetAlum began in the mid-1970s as a manufacturer of jet-engine components. That work set the standard the company still runs on — precision manufacturing for industries where a part either meets spec or it does not ship.

A new direction

The company transitioned into aluminum windows and storm windows. The tolerances came along with it: we became known for quality craftsmanship and for taking on the custom work other shops turned down.

Insulated glass

We added our own insulated glass manufacturing operation. Bringing glass in-house gave us direct control over the three things customers feel most — quality, service and lead time — instead of waiting on someone else's schedule.

Earthwise comes to Kansas City

We began manufacturing Earthwise vinyl windows, joining a national network of independently owned manufacturers. That operation grew into today's Earthwise of Kansas City — vinyl windows and sliding patio doors built on East 19th Street for homes across the metro.

Manufacturing meets technology

We continue our manufacturing heritage while building modern technology with Extrusia. Dealers now quote and order online with pricing that matches the plant to the penny, and those orders land in production without anyone re-keying them.
