Our Story

JetAlum was established in 1974 as a manufacturer of Jet Engine componants. As the aviation industry changed, JetAlum migrated into the Aluminium Window business and continues to manufacture the highest quality Storm Windows and Doors available in the United States. In 2011 JetAlum was purchased by the families of Jim White and Mark McWhorter from the Bennett family. For the previous twelve years Jim and Annette Bennett brought many innovations to JetAlum while honoring the values of their faith. Our leadership goal is to continue to honor our past established by the Bennett family while looking to the future for new ways to serve our valued customers.

In the spring of 2012 JetAlum began the process of introducing a locally manufactured, American made, vinyl window to the Kansas City market. Our goal was to offer a mid priced new construction window that met or exceeded all similarly manufactured windows. A large step forward towards that goal was realized when JetAlum was welcomed into the Earthwise Group.

The Earthwise Group is a national network of locally owned, independent window and door manufacturers. Products produced by Earthwise Group members consistently meet and exceed the rigorous standards set by Energy Star, the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), and the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA).
